I did. It was heart breaking honestly, but I won't be afraid to go through it again. Online love I consider as one of the most magical type of relationship. Well needed to mention the fun and pain of risk-taking. It takes a high level of courage and imagination.

painful when they lose their moral site by thinking it is okay to date someone closer to them and just say you just an online person. we are real people with real feelings.

Once, though I didn't really realize that's what it was at the time. The real-world distance just kind of made it fade it away. 😕

YES. She lives in New Zealand (I am in the UK) and we were on-line lovers for about a year, we had a lot of good fun. It broke my heart when she found a real lover in her home town. I couldn't deny her the happiness she deserved so I tell her I was happy for her but I was devastated. We do still email every now and then but its not the same.
Do I still care for her: Well I do still think about her a lot.
Was it worth it: Hell yes, it was wonderful.

I met someone amazing on EP. As we got closer to each other we agreed that our relationship would be a shared fantasy, not part of our off-line life. And because of that agreement we had amazing experiences together that are only possible in fantasy. We had our own magical world. We were women, men, animals, angels. We flew together and swam in the deepest oceans. Our minds were so connected and our hearts sang together.
