Is it unwise to date an older guy?

There's a twenty-year age difference between me and my coworker...since my first day working at the store, he's liked me. I didn't know my true feelings towards him. Three days ago I decided to test things out and start dating him. So far I'm enjoying myself, and so is he. Is dating someone with this age difference a bad idea?

Working with him isn't a problem. My manager is dating one of my coworkers, my best friends who also work with me are dating...so why can't I date a coworker as well? The main issue is the age...is it that big of a deal?

as long as you are both happy and enjoy each other its perfectly fine...

what matters are your feelings now how other peoplse see you

I would feel weird about it but I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it as long as you're both adults

as long as you are happy.

as long as ur both happy & u both respect each other. I know some people don't care on a age gap, some do - just depends on the couple i suppose!

No. You're both adults and if you enjoy each others company it's no big deal at all. Be happy. :-)

It may become an issue for you guys or it may not.
In some cases it is successful, but even in those ones I always feel sorrow for the younger one if that other person is their true love. They spend so long with them and then more often than not they will die before them, long before. Then they are left heart broken and alone forced to start over again. But it is a risk we all run at smaller rates with like aged partners. So go for it and cut it if it ends up being more of a burden than a joy.
