What's your opinion on long distance relationships?

If both people are loyal it only makes you stronger in the end.

I wouldn't recommend if you're someone who strongly craves intimacy. I am currently in one and it's sometimes one of the most hellish things to ever be in. It sometimes feels like I am in a relationship with my keyboard more than anything.. I do meet him every month for a few days. I can't wait until we can finally live together.. that is the goal at the end of it.

They are not easy and if it doesn't work out....well they tend to make people become twisted inside. Example, one is always faithful and the other who can not handle the pressure end up finding someone else closer to them which can make the faithful one go completely twisted if they aren't strong willed

It requires a really deep understanding and determination from both partners to survive. This link will show you what you may need to make it work. It is true for me. http://www.lifehack.org/articles/communication/21-best-tips-making-long-distance-relationship-work.html

not easy, but very possible. however for the relationship to progress, eventually that distance has to be closed

I've tried it and it didn't work out at all. Don't ignore any red flags. You have to talk everything out with the other person and both people need to be equally committed. Not good for someone who craves and needs real intimacy though.

They make it harder to be close.

Trust. Intimacy.
