Any good ideas on how to ask out a girl?

I have [i]a lot[/i] of good ideas on how to ask out a girl.

First of all, forget about looking for a lover (even though the sex of the one you want to ask out is that of your preference). If there's a relationship to come about, it will evolve in the course of your simply being present with her. Don't use a come-on or any pick-up lines. That will just make you creepy. Looking needy or trying to coerce her into being with you, is the worst thing you could do. She'll run for the nearest exit.

After you've offered a friendly hello and chatted for a bit to let her get comfortable with you (and you with her), tell her about an activity you've planned for yourself. Make it some activity in a public place - something light, something fun. Ask her if she would care to join you.

And throughout it all, remember;
