Have you ever dated someone who was holding you back and you didn't noticed until after you broke up

My ex was like that. She had a hold on me and didn't let me grow. I was too love to figure this out. The year after we broke up, my life has become so much better. New job, new career and new travel adventures

Yes, been there in the past.
Sometimes I feel that it may be because they have insecurity. So they hold on tightly.
Glad you are away from that and able to actual live your life now.
