Would you quit your job/career if your SPOUSE agreed to take care of ALL of your financial needs?

Noooo. What if we don't stay together?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@uncalled4 exactly.

@iamnikki Thanks for the BA.

Probably not. I like having my own job independent from him.
As long as he buys me a kitchenaid mixer so I can be busy

Call me old-fashioned, but the whole point behind wanting to be a high earner, for me, is that I marry and support my wife fully financially so that she doesn't have to work.

@sometimeslonelytoo Nothing wrong with wanting to do that. I take pride in being able to do things that we women couldn't do decades ago, and I want to take advantage of it.

I mean, I could continue my job just fine at home with that, in fact it would make it a lot easier in many ways. Less time pressure on things.
Nope...If they can afford it..nice form Mom to stay home with her kids...
but still keep her hand in it..

Absolutely... :) I've done that for my wife for the last 25 years.

My ultimate pleasure would be to provide. Never.

No I enjoy making my own money

@SENSME I donate a lot of my time to abuse shelters, homeless centers, animals shelters, I volunteer each summer at a camp just for terminally ill children. I give back my time to help for no financial gain on a regular basis.
