I Love History

The year 46 BCE was the longest year in human history. Because the old calendar was three months out of alignment, Caesar, in his role as Pontifex Maximus, redesigned the calendar and added 90 days to 46 BCE in order to get the calendar back in alignment. So, that year had 455 days.
