[big]Voters to Democrats: Cooperate with Trump[/big]
By Jennifer Harper - The Washington Times - Tuesday, February 28, 2017

The “i word” — impeachment — has already surfaced in the Democratic dialogue as the party rails against President Trump, its noisy message amplified by the mainstream media. In the words of Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez, everybody is “fired up.”

Perhaps they are under the impression that the nation will stand back in awe and admiration of their combative tone and vigorous outreach. That may not be the case, however. Many voters are weary of political gridlock and discord.

“Most voters agree that it’s bad for America and bad for the Democratic Party if Democrats continue to flat out oppose everything President Trump does. Even Democrats are conflicted about their party’s scorched earth policy,” says a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

According to the poll, 63 percent of all likely voters say it’s better for the country if Democrats try to work with the president instead, while 29 percent think it’s better for the country if Democrats “oppose the president in every way possible.”

Naturally, 90 percent of voters who support Mr. Trump say the Democrats should be more cooperative. But a surprising 46 percent of the Democrats themselves agree with this, a sentiment that is on the rise. A similar poll conducted shortly after the November election found that 32 percent of Democrats favored cooperation.

Perhaps the party itself could use a little quiet time. The survey also found that 63 percent of all voters say the Democratic Party will be “better off” if they cooperate with the opposition; a surprising 45 percent of Democrats also agree.

Apparently not enough. They voted in the people who made gridlock an everyday term, for the 8 years Obama was in office.

If the President wants cooperation, then he should probably stop disparaging the opposition, with his daily tweets, and stop calling the opposition, the enemy of the people, simply because they have a different opinion.

He should also stop placing the blame for the "mess" we're into, on Obama. At a minimum, when he spends years, calling the ACA the worst thing that's ever happened, and all he can come up with is "who would have thought that this stuff is so complex", he owes an apology, to those who actually tried to do something about it.

@lov2smile: sorry, I forget to add "and stop lying"

@Northwest:

You said:
Hilary is innocent....
Benghazi wasn't Hilary's fault ...didn't happen...
obama unified the country...
Your writings sound of an educated person, but your reasoning is total ignorance. That leads me to only one conclusion....You Sir are the biggest deceiver of all

Can you please translate this into English for me?

Do you mind pointing to the posted, where I said these things? Or did you just paste some words, from different posts, with different contexts, over different periods of time? You understand that this is the same as lying?
Apparently the Democrats like to teach lessons. But don't like to be taught? Both parties seem to lack the knowledge or they seem to like to forget, that there is a silent majority out there who did not like the message that the losing candidate was sending. And that candidate as well as her party are still sending dissenting messages till this very day. It definitely shows the average citizen that these persons only care about special interests as well as padding their pockets with back door dealings. So sad that it has come to this in my lifetime. What kind of future are the children of this country going to have?

A future where globalism rules the world. The elite and machines take complete control and free speech is outlawed. The American middle class becomes extinct and society morphs into a borg like creation. Scary stuff, something the Democrats, Obama and the liberal Republicans are facilitating.

Very good post. Quite on point.

Could be a typo "Democratic Party will be “better off” if they cooperate with the opposition". The democrats are the opposition in both the house and senate.

The Washington Times? Rasumssen?
Uh...OK.
Pro tip. Consider the source. EVERY time.

Ynotisay,

Typical liberalism....you can't argue the merits of the story so you attempt to destroy the messenger.

@lov2smile: No kiddo. When I said "pro tip" that was literal. As in "pro."

A line like, "Perhaps the party itself could use a little quiet time" is beneath any argument and displays a total lack of merit. It's called discernment.

The Washington Times & Rasmussen.

What a shocker.

HA. Just wrote pretty much the same thing.
It's amazing to watch, isn't it?
