Would you say that Germany's Nazi history, is the single factor, that we should use to judge Germany today?

@MasterLee: Just trying to help you out buddy. In this case, the term you're struggling with, but can't figure out, is "false equivalency", not "stramwan". That would, however, fail, because the context is "ancient history", versus "modern times", which would make the correct comparison.

How difficult is it, for someone, in 2017, to acknowledge that the Republican party of 1860, is not the Republican party of 2017, and that the Democratic Party of 1860 is not the same as the Democratic Part of 2017? I guess denying reality is easier for you.
