Help please, America-landers: 'Executive Orders' - what weight do they carry, how quickly are they enacted, and have there ever been so many as the last few days?

As far as I know. A executive order is the faster way to get a pledge into a reality without having all the delay by going through the usual process.
It doesn't need the approval of congress and it still holds the same weight as one that was approved by congress.
But it can be stopped by Supreme Court judge if its unconstitutional.
or congress can make it difficult for trump but that's unlikely.
