@Picklebobble2 The problem being that Trumps rump is still enough to make sure Republicans crash and burn horribly if they dont turn out for him. Thats what the rallies are about

Pretty sure Trump wouldn't have been the Republican first choice last time around but they went with it because of the populist support he had guaranteeing a Republican victory at the polls.
Can't guarantee that this time around as he's clearly isolated the U.S from those long thought of as allies worldwide. Has massively expanded national debt and may well have divided folk even more at home despite having put little on the table where many could realistically say they are better off today than they were before he was elected
