@unknownpoetx You're right, healthcare is affordable in Europe but the question isn't what you pay its about what you get in return. The US is perfect but we offer fantastic healthcare because of the private circuit. People putting their own money to advance medicine. In a socialist regime, you get whatever the government provides. But hey, it's cheap.

This allows Europe to put more money in socialist programs. If the USA refused to pay to protect your ass, it wouldn't be free anymore. Someone always pays. If so then you'd understand that all the free crap you've received through social programs wouldn't be available if you're government has to put spending elsewhere which it would if the US military isn't protecting it's allies. The private sector in the America develops the majority of new medicine and that's expensive. Without military protection, you'd be paying for it.
