In 2017 the Trump administration passed a huge tax cut for the wealthiest Americans. Trump also proposed a hugely expensive wall be constructed on our southern border. Trump has proposed a huge $750 billion military budget, that's more than the next top ten countries combined spend on defense. Since the super wealthy aren't going to pay for these huge expenditures, guess who will be paying for it? The average, non-wealthy American, that's who!

Trump has proposed a hugely expensive border wall, costing $5 to over $25 billion. How are we going to pay for that if we greatly cut taxes? Will we drastically cut spending for infrastructure, education, healthcare, social security? That would be stupidly short-sighted and end up costing us much more in the future.
FYI The super wealthy pay a much lower percentage of their income in taxes than ordinary Americans. The super wealthy have off-shore tax havens and all kinds of other loop-holes that greatly reduce their tax burden.
