Don't ever lower your standards for someone else who can't meet yours

Depends on what the standards are tbh.

Some standards truly are not worth having and only serve to cheapen our experience in life; specifically, those rooted in superficiality.

In my personal life no. But sometimes in work related situations I have to lower my intelligence.
