I Miss My Brother Who Passed Away
She sat there in silence
She couldn't speak, but
What would she even say?
Would she just scream
Until her throat was as
Sore as her heart,
Would she cry and sob
Till all of the emotion
Left her eyes
Maybe she deserved that,
But why should that matter now?
She blinked back tears,
But then blinked back the rain
Which has been around for a bit
Fourming small puddles around her
But she just couldn't care
The rain trickled down her hair
Which has since fallen down
And lost all of it's life and energy
The water washed away the blood
That slowly
But surely
Ran down the curb and onto the road
The source was something just as red
The blood was almost invisible
Against the bright red hood of the male
Just sleeping
Just tired
Their side was butchered,
Bone visible
But almost not as the blood
Saturated so much of it.
The area around them was a pure crimson,
But now it was watered down,
Just looking disgusting.
Some cloth was torn off as well
Now gripped by the other, the black hoodied one
There was nothing she could do
Except slowly cry as she tried to see them breathe
The sleeping one was alive
Barely
They couldn't speak
Their breathing was slow
They were destined to die right here
And right now
And she couldn't do anything about it
Now that she thought about it
She screamed till her throat was sore
She cried till her eyes were empty
Of any emotion at all
She now held the basically dead male
Yelling when she couldn't sob
And sobbing when she couldn't scream
She only stopped when
They softly sobbed with them
As if they were just comforting them
As if they were fine
And she was the only dead one
Though soft, they spoke
It wasn't harsh,
It wasn't sad,
It was calm and smooth
Yet broken
"Hey
This won't matter..
Moments from now
But
You need to remember
I'll miss you
I'll remember you
I won't be mad at you
I forgive you
I lo-"
Silence
They were gone
And that didn't matter now
But she feels missed
She feels remembered
She feels important
She feels redeemed
She feels..
Loved
They've been through alot
They've been through everything
Everything together
Whether it's bad
Or pleasant
It was together
And nothing can ever change that
She couldn't speak, but
What would she even say?
Would she just scream
Until her throat was as
Sore as her heart,
Would she cry and sob
Till all of the emotion
Left her eyes
Maybe she deserved that,
