I Love Extreme Sports

Hate the term but I don't really like labels at all so that's not my point or focus of this post.
I know I participate in the sports I do for one congruent reason that they must include or I'm not interested. And I think that a doctor studying the topic put it best when he said.
"This study revisits the extreme sport definition to include only those activities where a mismanaged mistake or accident would most likely result in death as opposed to injury" - Dr. Eric Brymer
I know to even consider an activity a sport for me it has to include this element of death as the most likely outcome if not done precisely right. I like to scare myself and triumph and feel most alive and fulfilled when I feel like it took all my skill judgement and ability to successfully do "physical problem" like a descent on a steep snow covered mtn on a snowboard or on a technical mtn bike trail. If I did BASE jump then it has to be more difficult than just "falling" same with skydiving. I plead the 5th on BASE as I can't afford the legal representation to demonstrate what I may or may not be able to do from a 750' tall span over a ravine or antennae in remote areas that can reach as high 1400 ft and I'd never jump off El Capitan in Yosemite national park as its a felony so I def wouldn't do that and admit to it online lol ;)
