Its bad enough when u don't have ur mom anymore to wish her a Happy
Mothers Day but its even worse when u have to pretend its no big deal when u have to celebrate someone else's mom on Mothers Day.

My mom died when I was much younger, so I know what you mean. Mothers' Day (and Christmas) can be a tough time of year.
