I Will Always Miss My Uncle

My uncle was like an older brother to me! He meant the absolute world to me. I looked up to him in so many ways. His birthday was April 16th.. he would have been 51 this year. June 2nd was the 6 year anniversary of his passing. He visits me often especially in my dreams. He came to me last night and instead of meeting on the beach where I've always found him in my dreams it was my wedding day and we were dancing (Lynyrd Skynyrd "Call Me the Breeze") one of his favorite bands :)

Last thing I remember before waking up was he told me how happy he is for us.. kissed my cheek and said "I love you, kiddo."

(only 3 people in my life call me kiddo.. my mother, my uncle and my friend Brett that passed away almost 4 years ago)
