I Hate It When Someone Messages Me And Say Hey Or Hi
honestly, no I don't. I would love it. Fact is, I very rarely even get a "hi". I am happy the times I get a simple "hi" and I try to create a conversation myself with the person because I appreciate the fact the person took their time to send me a message. If they initiate, I'll live up to my end of the bargain and help them out to sort out a conversation.
It's really sad because there're so many women/girls saying guys only message them saying "hi how are you?" or so, well .. be happy, I ain't even getting that!
Besides, when I message someone I spend minimum of 10 minutes trying to write a nice first message and trying to make it personal and nice.. I also try to read a bit about the person I am messaging so I know what kind of person they are. Most of the times, I don't even get a reply, and when I do get a reply, it's almost always a short and boring reply as if the woman/girl is trying to reply as boringly as possible to end the conversation earlier.
I believe, being a man in this scenario, really sucks. But then, who knows, maybe it's just me.
Incase you're wondering, no, I don't have bad self esteem, I'm quite confident in myself. I'm intelligent, I study master of science in computer engineering, I'm decent looking and I'm a clean guy, I shower daily so yea, compared to other guys I do feel like I am one of the better ones. On top of that, I'm kind of heart, I always want to make people happy.
