Great work, but why the apparent sadness?

@Curiousme Who knows. She's an adolescent. This is another, and I see sadness in it too.

She's not a sad kid, although she's had some reasons to be. Perhaps she is outwardly happy and the sadness comes out in her art work

Maybe so, sometimes people use their Art to really say how they feel!

@Curiousme Well, she is doing well in school. Seems outwardly happy. She's a kind, thoughtful kid and all we can do is continue to be there if she wants to talk.
