I Think Im Moving On Finally

I feel for you. I haven't moved on entirely from my last girlfriend. In July, I will have ended that relationship, three years ago. Some people don't understand how hard moving on and grief is. If it had just been a girlfriend, maybe I wouldn't have found it that hard. I felt her a life partner and a best friend despite our differences. She was also beside me when my father passed away by an accident. That creates a bond intimately, to me. Without going into details of how the relationship wasn't letting me move on, or how it became toxic, I couldn't take it anymore. Thus, I had to end it knowing I would hurt myself again.

Her and I remained friends, very close, for a very long time after. (we couldn't let each other go). Then her father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and I really tried to be there for her
