It's rather difficult to think of a song that makes me feel guilty, but if there were ever such a thing, it would be this song.
A heartrendingly beautiful song by Tool about letting go of grudges, as they poison you more than anything else. And ultimately true. But we all hold on to anger and grudges at times, and that is why this song makes me feel guilty.
This song in combination with a pretty powerful acid trip enabled me to forgive the guy who raped me.
Why is it then that I hold grudges over much more menial things? Sometimes it is better to just let go before you get consumed by your own anger and hatred.
