I Am a Police Officer

Next month will mark 3 years service. My state allows people to join at 18, and that's exactly what I done. 2 weeks after graduating high school I started the academy.

It's been a crazy 3 years across two different police departments. It's a job that has never become boring though. Excited for what the future holds

Thank you for serving in a sometimes thankless job. Question, some agencies do not allow a uniformed LEO before age 21. Maybe not so much now, but did you feel you received less respect on the job from the public because of your young age?

@MikeSp Not many states allow people to begin at 18. People know I am young but it doesn't bother me
