I Am a Type One Diabetic

I have been since I was very little. My pancreas produces no insulin so I have an insulin pump. It’s great but I have to check my blood glucose all the time and correct it. My pump is in a bra pouch. It clips onto the side of my bra so it’s neat and out of the way. It feeds insulin down a narrow plastic tube into a cannula that goes under my skin. I have to change the cannula every three days. Sonetimes more often. I put it in with a needle. Then the needle comes out.
