Ever consider whether you're actually alright?

Is there any indication that the way you perceive yourself and your world and interactions are what they actually are? Is your mind actually "normal," and what does that entail? Are you actually missing the point of someone else's words? Just how limited is your ability to perceive the world around you?
I have this in mind all the time. Wondering how accurate my perception of the world is used to cause me a lot of anxiety.
None of us are quite the same. Complete understanding and comprehension of each other and the world is not possible. But we've made it work so far. It's like striving for perfection, it's impossible, but that doesn't mean you don't still try to be really really great.
