What’s one of the most ridiculous situations you’ve been in?

@JoyfulSilence A lot of Torontonians will drive to Buffalo to shop. It’s cheaper there, even with the exchange rate. Toronto is snazzier, but when you’re looking for deals & bargains, Buffalo is where it’s at. It’s less than a 2 hr drive.

I grew up near Cleveland and we drove to Toronto a few times. The last time I was there, I flew in for a conference. My hotel was next to the CN Tower.

Actually, Amazon in Canada isn’t as good as here in the States, so it’s not as popular there.

@marsbar I have never used Amazon so do not know what it is like.

I still prefer to go to a mall or stores (Since that is something to do, in and of itself, even if I buy nothing. I like to look at ladies, too 🤭). I like to see things, handle them, open the box and inspect, etc. You'd be amazed how many plates and bowls have defects, etc. Also, I never really know what I might want. I stroll and things catch my eye. The other day I almost bought some light pink plush throw pillows for my couch. Yet I had to hold myself back because I already have two sets (green and orange). But I have a feeling next time I go to that store I might get them! I keep buying stuff I do not need because it is pretty. Some stuff I have yet to take out of its packaging!

@marsbar Well, I get really bored sometimes. And pillows are so huggable.

I wish I had a lady friend so I could buy her soft pillows and then she and I can wrap ourselves in them.
