How not to do your Christmas shopping, Tried this method four days ago.

Returned from shopping in a rain storm. Grabbed all the bags with one hand, leaving the other free to slam down the car boot lid - onto my head. A&E were fearing brain damage but I persuaded them I've always been like this.

Oh! 🥺💥Glad you're okay! We say "ER" which means emergency room over here. We also just say "trunk" for the car boot. The English language is so strange and funny! 😁 Well this year I just gave out gift cards. so much easier and they can get what they want with them. 🐥

@Mamapolo2016 Thanks for your interest. The damage looks much more serious than it apparently is : black down one side of my head and under both eyes. Smiling is quite painful. When it happened I really thought I'd fractured my skull. As long as I believe there's no long term damage, I don't mind that much. It's the thing they close the bonnet with - door? They call a 4-door car a 5-door car over here.
