yes I have. A neighbor kept promising to give me an African Grey parrot, waited around nearly two months including staying home one whole day when they promised to bring it. The next time he mentioned it I told him I didn't want it any more. (Was told it shrieked loudly like a preteen girl and that's all it took)...
