Nature is fascinating. There are so many fascinating creatures in our world.
While researching what kind of animals can regenerate body parts, I came across these adorable little guys. They are amphibians. Like frogs I guess, but so much cuter. If some company ever makes stuffed animals of Axolotls, I think they'll find a huge market for them. I can't understand why it hasn't already been done.
The axolotl also known as a Mexican salamander or a Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic salamander, closely related to the tiger salamander. Although the axolotl is colloquially known as a "walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian.

@AmorFati oh, yes you're right. But they are actually selling them to keep in home aquariums. I just want a stuffed toy. A stuffy. Not a stuffed axolotl. That would be horrible.
@AmorFati some nights are like that. I don't fight it or stress over it. I'm retired. When I'm tired I'll sleep. If I don't sleep tonight I will tomorrow night.
I find it strange when I hear the old people, here in my Seniors apartment building, complaining that they can't sleep, but when I was still working, I cleaned house for several of them, and though they complained about not sleeping, they sure slept soundly enough as I went about the job of cleaning their homes. I decided back then, that I wouldn't let lack of sleep bother me. It tends to keep people awake all night worrying about it.
@Serenitree oh yeah... I can understand... Actually it's not only the quantity we sleep but the quality as well... So if someone says hey haven't slept well I feel they may also be referring to the quality of it...care to PM?
@AmorFati this is going to sound ridiculously like an excuse but I have to go close my eyes right now. Sleepy or not, my eyes are blurring. I've been staring at this little screen for two or more hours. Rain check? Tomorrow evening, maybe?
