I Have a Story to Share
Hey guys I thought I would share a story with you all. This is one of the prodest things I have ever done.
When I was 16 year old I was asked to help out at this summer skills week for children with different special needs between the ages of 11-16. That week was one of the most thrilling weeks I ever had. It opened my eyes and showed me that depsite their disabilities theses kids did everything we could do. At the end of the week I decided to form a working party with a few friends and the party was called No Body Like Us. I was the chairman of the party and we fund raised so theses kids could have summer trips out and a chance to enjoy themselves. Some of theses kids never even had a proper christmas so out of my own pocket I gave them a christmas with presents and christmas dinner. I wanted for one day for theses kids to have what everyone else had. That working party was in operation for 8 years and because of lack of funding to keep it up we had to close. I was sad when it ended but for 8 years I was glad to be able to put a smile on their faces. I am proud that I was able to contribute to there life.
