A Unusual Story,
Once there was a old creaky house. It was something to see. It had been painted light blue and beige. There were green hanging plants all around and small white roses there. When the children danced around at night before they got tired enough to sleep, they heard some more strange noises. The adults had seen some bright and glowing beings before; but the kids hadn't. They were somewhat interested since this happened for a while. The first time they found out about anything was because the big city lights that came on at night were on and they could all see shadows. When this happened, then they had huddled to pray and tell each other made up stories. Eventually there were even more of these signs. The children wondered when they would be tall like the shadow figures. Then suddenly they would park as if suspended in air somehow. The young children would be very still until they vanished away. It was uncertain if they were protective or not. To them, they just wanted to figure out one day.
One day one of the children asked the adults about them and then they were told of angels and demons. Now, this went on for a while. The adults helped the children ask them questions. When the shadow figures were asked; they would freeze and shrug a greeting over to their living people all around them.
The children started really wondering what they were. They were ghost their parents said if they would go to sleep it would be fine. They all decided that everything would make more sense later.
A while later and then their only pet, a black cat would cry and she would paw at the wood floor when she heard some noises from the yard outside and then the creaky old house made noises from time to time again. The cat meowed at the passing woosh that changed to a noisy waterfall. The next time, it sounded like a waterfall which really surprised every child who had heard it. It wasn't a waterfall though; it was actually another portal to the spirit world. This new spirit was very loud and it unsettled the children. Then, they complained of headaches and became fearful of what was to be. They all decided to talk to their parents about it. The ghost was found out to be a lost lost family spirit that was protecting them
Their parents had heard strange things too in their sleep they seemed to hear doors opening and closing. They felt a cool wind pass through. After that, the parents had felt lost for a while and wandered aimlessly in their sleep through their homes, like a dream. When they all woke up, then it wasn't as much happening as it was in the day they noticed. (To be continued)
