I Don't Like It When Someone Lies to Me

I love that we are now living in a society where you walk into just about any business, you see a sign and that sign is a straight up bold faced lie. Case in point: I went into Big Lots and read their "freshness guarantee" or refund sign. Couldn't possibly be further from the truth. I know from first hand experience that the manager just plain ignored the guarantee, even when I took the sign to her and read it out loud. She had NO answer and was visibly upset. This is not a special case, as I have also caught Best Buy in a very similar lie.

This is the world we live in now. Where companies feel free to lie directly to our faces everyday. Corporate america thinks the general public is either stupid or has no back bone.
