Physical pain is only a fraction of being intentionally hurt!

I'm proud to say my parents have never hit any of us, they don't believe physical pain and it's anguish is any positive tool to use to correct a child! Teaching values isn't a donkey and carrot thing. It is about reason and explanations, imparting the truth with diligence and love.

I have truly understood the lessons they taught us and I am confident that I will show the same patience with my family when I have one.

Of course, my Father has insisted we all learn how to defend ourselves, with regular instruction in Savate, but neither of us has had to use it.
