I Have Been In The Back Of A Police Car

I wasn't arrested. I was the victim of a crime and the deputy was taking me to the station to interview me. I had to sit in the back because, as he said, he had "too much crap in the front seat." When I commented on how tight it was, he responded, "Yeah, it's not built for comfort back there."

The back seat is very tight and your legs are pushed back if you're taller. If you notice where the divider is on a cruiser it's a few inches behind the door and angled, making for very tight quarters, especially in the newer cars.

The last time I was in the back of a police car I was on a ride along with my friend and the cop we were both friends with. We flipped nickels to decide who would ride in front. I lost.
