I haven't seen a green grasshopper since I was a kid. Nowadays, I only see giant grey ones everywhere. It made me feel lucky to find this little guy.
I asked my nephew if they were lucky, but he said only dragonflies were. He has a collection of things dragonflies have landed on because he believes that it'll bring him luck if he keeps them "for two birthdays," he'd said. I don't know where he got that idea, but I think it's sweet.
