I Starve Myself

Day 5 of a 700 to 900 calorie diet. Lost six pounds so far. Only negative effects is that I get tired a lot sooner in the day and sleep sooner. Which is fine because i’m often depressed at night.

That's a terrible way to lose weight. You want to lose 2 pounds a week, max. You're probably getting depressed, because you're not eating enough. You can lose the weight just a bit slower, while still feeling good. :/

You want a 25% calorie deficit, max.

Do this to find your BMR, multiply by the Harris Benedict equation for activity level, then substract 15%-25%

@Tatsumi By the way, if you're not doing cardio, you're probably losing muscle mass, rather than fat.

Just walking 30 mins a day is enough, 3-5 times a week.

And eating too little will fuck up your hormone levels and metabolism, making it more likely you'll gain a lot of weight, later.

@Tatsumi I’m much happier this way, and am aware of the consequences. I don’t need advice.

@QueenOfZaun *shrug* Okay. Just wanted to make sure you knew.

I’m sure you’re very concerned @Tatsumi

@QueenOfZaun I am concerned. But I also respect peoples' ability to make choices for themselves. If you reject help, what am I supposed to do? I can't do anything about it, so I'm purposefully not gonna stress about it, because that hurts *me*, right? And I'm all about health.

I'm not gonna beg you to take care of yourself. That wouldn't accomplish anything, if your mind is set, like that.

If you did not have the knowledge before, you do now. You're equipped.

If, at a later point, you decide you want to do it healthier, you know how. Even if you already knew, I made sure. So, I feel satisfied in the job I did, which I didn't really have to do, in the first place.

If I wasn't concerned, why would I post, in the first place?

Maybe self-image, trying to garner a reputation, on here. But if you've seen me around on here, you should know I don't really give much of a fuck what others think about me. I say what I think.

Selfishness comes first. That's just human. But not all selfishness is bad, and it doesn't cancel out my caring.

I don’t care what you tell yourself to justify your douchey fake empathy or the armchair psychology you think you understand. Go bother someone else that actually believes you.@Tatsumi

@QueenOfZaun Ha. Alright.

You're welcome. :)
