I am Amish

I love now I can write my own title. A lot of you know we are a big family who live on a farm. I am number five of six children. My Mam calls me number 5 when she forgets my name. Out and about people call me Blodyn. It's what Welsh people call young girls.Like sweetheart in England. But my real name is Lili.
I am Amish. My religion is very important to me. I observe the Sabbath. Which we call Lord's Day not Sunday. People ask me how I'm online. I don't have facebook but I'm going to have to because I'm setting up a business. I am Second Year in Art School. Just one year to go. Keep chatting! Keep safe!

I didn't think the Amish approved of any modern technology. Has something changed with regards to that? Just curious.

@Zoranna Like everything, we are stereotyped. I grew up Amish. I always want to be Amish. But I'm in college. There are certain things I won't do. I don't intend to stop being Amish. But it doesn't stop me having fun with my friends!

@Zoranna You caused no offence. Older Amish fear technology. I am in college and college uses Google Classroom. The challenge is to the elders but so far they been great. Like church services in Zoom!

@LilirWyddfa Yeah i used to spend a fair amount of time on a website forum/chat room called Worthyboards which was run by Messianic Jews.. The chat room however had an Amish man and a Mennonite woman as Moderators.. They where wonderful loving and wise people.. 😊
