I Hate Feeling Ugly
So I’m sitting on my back deck and I’m remembering a sad part in my life.
I was probably in the 7th or 8th grade. It was at a middle school dance and I didn’t have much luck dancing with anyone.
Well I remember lying to my dad who I danced with. But reality was I was afraid to ask anyone to dance.
I remember being a freckle faced redhead kid who didn’t have a lot of confidence. That night before I went to bed I remember looking in the mirror and crying thinking why I was so ugly? Now I’m more confident. But I’m wondering if there were more people like me growing up and trying to figure everything out?
