Why do you think so many people are too lazy to cook? ~

DiegoWolfe · 36-40
Not lazy it's that they dono have confidence or knowledge to cool well and no understanding how to do it well
@DiegoWolfe I think this is part of it for a lot of people. All you can do is start small, learn from your mistakes, and have frozen pizza on hand just in case it's a total loss.

I remember having a total commute of 2 hours and sometimes 2 and a half or three hours if there was an accident or if traffic going to Cape Cod was heavy and bad. The stress of driving in heavy traffic for that long, packed onto your normal 8 hour day...sometimes followed by errands or quick grocery shops, meant that you would arrive home starving but exhausted. You just wanted to go to bed...but you would be too hungry to sleep.

So...on a bad traffic day we put in 11 hours, and got take out. Laziness had nothing to do with it.

They haven't had really good food. I prefer to cook because it tastes so much better.

@curiosi That doesn't make sense if people go to a Michelin restaurant
It's a bunch of work. I could live on sandwiches. In fact, I almost do much if the time.

I never thought of it as lazy, so much, as a general reason why. Sometimes people just want a brief reprieve from cooking and cleaning up afterwards. Then there are those who've always had someone else cooking for them, and can never be bothered to do it for themselves...after.
It takes too long. People are all about that instant gratification with minimal effort.
