Not a question, a money saving tip for any woman in the USA who loves Yankee Candles and uses their wax warmers.

I was a little surprised that Yankee Candle wax warmer pots (the little plastic ones) are $5.00, but I bought some around Christmas time and I just used my last one. 馃槩 I was bummed out by the price because they only last a couple of days, but it is much better than burning candles.(No sneezing and no soot! And no mess!)

I also just stocked up on votive candles, because they just had a big sale on them...a lot of non-holiday scents...for $1.00 each.

I JUST figured out that if you empty out the more expensive plastic wax warmer container into the trash, while the wax is hot, you can completely wipe it clean with a paper towel and re-use it with....$1.00 Scented Votive candles!!!

I just unwrapped the cheaper scented votive candle, and with a blunt dinner knife I popped off the metal tab on the bottom of the candle, put the votive in the wax warmer, where it melted and smelled like fresh honeydew melon. I took a toothpick and lifted out the wick, which stuck to the toothpick as soon as it hit the air.

A savings of $4.00 every time you do it. 馃槉

Well aren't you a clever girl. 鈽猴笍I have a ceramic wax warmer. I buy the scented wax and like to mix them together for different scents.
