Have you stayed at your residence through a hurricane?

If a hurricane made it to this part of the globe, we would [i]all[/i] probably be in trouble.

Yes, I have....the hurricanes had a wide path, and my house is far enough inland and elevated high enough that I wasn’t going to sustain major flooding. Also, by the time they came up the coast they were lower category hurricanes (1 or 2).
Staying in my house was probably the safest place I could be considering.

Yeah, twice. No reason not to stay.

I’m not that brave.

Once. My house is concrete block and I live inland and in Central Florida so it was going to loose a lot of it's punch by the time it got to me.

No Hurricanes, Earthquakes, tidal waves, Tornadoes, cyclones or bush fires here in my part of the world.
