Have you thought about making any sort of donation to help?

500 Homeless teachers. School is about to start...at schools in areas outside of the fire zone. Mental health observational training is being provided to the teachers.

Instead of giving to the Red Cross rat hole how about a donation to food banks? They usually score very well with Charity Navigator.

Try vetting them through Charity Navigator. You don't want your donations to pay for an executive's million dollar salary or to go to some consultant whose advise is to hire more consultants.

@4meAndyou Many charities are less than stellar when you examine exactly where your money goes. Knowledge is power. I agree with CrazyWaterSpring. Help those who really need it not the corporate pigs.

I used to send money all the time to different charities until someone told me they don't actually get it?! 😯 Plus I've been hacked so I don't order anything or do transactions on my computer. God bless you for helping! 🍀

@MarineBob they might have been doing that since this summer. They did a raid in Hollywood and it was posted on Twitter by someone living not too far, she thought they were rounding up illegals that were working in the mansions...I don't know if it was that or human trafficking or something else.

Paradise Ca is a mess. I have a friend that lives in Chico that has seen it first hand. The ricent rains haven't helped the recovery effort.
There's been plenty of outreach from the Red Cross, the local service clubs, Lyons, Kawinas and etc. Sierra Nevada brewing in Chico is donating the procedes of one of their beers to the effort. My company has donated $250,000 to the Red Cross and $250,000 locally to help.
