we always throw the directions away and then have the wife dig them out of the trash when we have a bunch of spare parts left over ,
If you want to know what you did wrong ,ask a kid or a woman
They spot it at the speed of sound LOL
I am actually mechanically inclined so I hardly ever have spare parts or need anyones help ,
But I will ask my woman to help ,you know a joint project to do together
And if there are any spare parts ,they usually go on her side LOL
its was always good for a laugh ,I actually miss those days
My ex still has a roll top desk she and I built
I usually use an torque set for a drill for all those machine screws
All that cranking with an allan wrench is for the birds

@Winenot thats ok ,if he pays close attention ,his wrench's are all about a 1/2 inch shorter ,cut off blade in the old side grinder and presto
Now I just stick the tips in the appropriate 1/4 inch dive socket ,with proper driver ,and I don't need a torque set ,
I think my screw gun used to be his too but I've had it over 30 days its mine now LOL ,how did you know my ex's new boyfriends name is Allen ? anyway ,
If your wife don't find ya handsome she should at least find ya handy I always say .
Have a good one and good luck with the "Honey Do "project

I've put together a lot of Ikea furniture over the years. It just takes some patience the instructions aren't always the best.

I've never attempted it, but my son assembled a few pieces of furniture with no problems.

It will go together easier than you think. Just get to it.

Nah, I don't own a screwdriver

I’ve built many of their stuff. Good directions but it takes time.

I don't understand the joke about Ikea furniture being hard to assemble. That stuff has barely any screws and not a lot of parts.

You can do it!!!

I've never ordered anything, but I have shopped there.
