So my house flooded Friday night...

The rental agency said they couldn't get anyone out til today. A restoration guy came out and said MOLD! And the rental lady said he was crazy, so two guys with a shop vac ans dehumidifier came out. Now I'm just redoing what they did cuz I got the OCD.

Also aim a few fans at the wet areas- this will help the evaporation process and make the moisture more available to the dehumidifier...I had this problem only twice and I left the fans and dehumidifier running 24/7 for about 2 weeks and it dried the heck out of it - and careful breathing that chemical crap😷

Ummm mold is a very very real threat if the water got as high as drywall. Once drywall is wet, it can warp for one, and then soppy drywall makes a great place for mold spores to grow.

I got some spray stuff. It didn't get that high, it just spread out everywhere. I'm pulling back all the carpet to mKe sure.

I would make it my business to move somewhere where there is no mold. That could be a health nightmare!

Make sure you wear a face mask and use a watered down bleach spray. Though considering I do this for a living the stuff they do should have done the trick.
