The fires in NC are really bad right now and the winds are getting strong.
Very Strong winds over the mountain ridges through tonight ... remains in effect until 7 AM EST Tuesday above 3500 feet ... Winds: south 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 70 mph ...

I am surrounded but it is miles away and with the wind it is worrisome. I am going to stay awake and stay alert. That is about all I can do.

@MrsKatherineArch: I am waiting for an email, at this pointy I dont see fire. I really need to just sit tight , it is still a very long way away from me. We have not been told to evacuate. I will be find.. dont worry I have family nearby, in walking distance and if I need to I can go and get with them. :)
