I Want to Have Fun and Feel Alive Again
Wow what a zing. My first shift in a fast food restaurant (world leader, no names). I'm a crew member, being trained on grills by a super positive, supportive trainer. And it's all done by countdown timer and sensible policies. I really like the controlled environment, and it's easy to leave work at work.
The manager said there are opportunities opening up in the near future in management, seemed keen to get interest. Actually managing there could be a great route into hospitality, which interests me because it's a place where perfection is repeatedly appreciated, it never loses its appeal. And I would love to own a beautiful villa somewhere split up into rooms to rent out.... What a wonderful place to spend a lifetime :D
So, the world is singing to me - and I'm listening. Work hard, smile, speak positive. Those things really can get you a long way.
