I Love Relaxing In The Pool
Growing up my parents put a small pool in a few years after we moved out into the "sticks", a small town that now has everything we ever dreamed of back then. It was a pain in the ass to get the land prepped and a long wait for our first pool summer, but in the end it was great to have one of our own.
I love swimming and relaxing in water and just indulging the wonderful nature of neutral buoyancy. Sadly, however, that love runs into the dead end of my Scottish lineage - the source of my pale skin which has only two colors, white and red. There is no tan of any shade and the Summer sun is often my enemy.
Needless to say, modern sunscreens have come in very handy but I do also love just being in the pool at night. It is so refreshing!
