I Love Having A Special Connection
I can get close to some people very quickly. It's all about the connection.
I used to be unaware that false connections could exist. There is no such thing as a one-sided connection. It's a false connection when only one person feels it and the other pretends to. There are rare occasions when I've allowed myself to begin getting close to someone based on a false connection. That saddens me.
Enough of that....ugh…
There are people that I connect with quickly and I allow those people to get close to me.
There are other people that I never develop a connection with. They could be some of the nicest people I've met. We can make small talk and be polite to one another.
However, if the connection is not felt...that drawing force that brings us together as friends, I won't let the person become close to me, to be an important part of my life.
Some people click and some people don't.
