I Have a Funny Story
My funny story happened today when I was walking down the street of my new town. If you saw my post under the group “I Live in Wales”, I moved to Wales recently from the US, and I am an American.
I have been recently getting over a cold, and I was trying to get somewhere today, but was lost in the process of looking for it. Everything worked out just fine, but in the time that I was lost with a runny nose, walking down the street, there was a group of school-aged children who were walking and talking as I passed by. I must have looked a little depressed with my cold and my state of being lost, and one smaller boy (probably ten or eleven) smiled at me, and unexpectedly said to my face something like, “Are you all right? You look beautiful today!”. I thought that it was not the best time to say that to someone, but I laughed and I said, “Thank you!”, and waved “Bye!”.
I just hope that it wasn’t sarcasm, because that would have been the last thing I would have needed at a time like that! However, the little boy was so cute with his little pale face and (I think) freckles! In a way, the bold little boy made my day, and now I get to share this funny story!
