Well having read it, I can say that it's essentially hearsay. It says that there's not a plausible explanation for it occurring naturally, therefore it must have been released by the Wuhan lab, and therefore must have been deliberately released for some reason (also, you would think they would deliberately release a more deadly pathogen. Just saying...

The fact that she had to publish on an open-research non-peer-reviewed platform, the fact that she has been on Tucker Carlson's show promoting this theory, that Twitter has suspended her account, and that the University of Hong Kong has discredited her study saying
Dr Yan's statement does not accord with the key facts as we understand them. They have no scientific basis but resemble hearsay."
I think tells you all you need to know.

I understand that this will not satisfy the conspiracy nutjobs here. Of course she has been suppressed by the CCP/WHO/Joe Biden/Bill Gates/George Soros, etc. That's the beauty of conspiracy theories: they can never be disproved.
@SW-User Another interesting detail: by the time it appeared anywhere outside China, it was very clear how contagious and deadly it was. The rest of the country could have nipped in the bud quite easily if they had learned from China, in which case it would only have hit their own population and economy. If the release was intentional, they took a huge bet that other countries would allow it to spread.
